Kathleen Gregory's Headshot

Kathleen Gregory is a postdoctoral research fellow at the School of Information Studies at the University of Ottawa and a guest research fellow at Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS) in the Netherlands. Her research explores how people discover, communicate, understand, and use data in academia and in public life. 

She holds a PhD in Science & Technology Studies from Maastricht University, where her thesis Findable and reusable? Data discovery practices in research was awarded honours. She also holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Drexel University and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Colorado. She has worked as an academic librarian in the United States and Germany, where her work focused on scientific information literacy and bibliometrics. A list of Kathleen’s publications, talks, and projects can be found on her website.
