Anton Boudreau Ninkov is a research associate at the Scholarly Communications Lab

Anton Boudreau Ninkov is a professeur adjoint at l’école de bibliothéconomie et des sciences de l’information (EBSI) at l’Université de Montréal and a research associate at the ScholCommLab. Anton’s research focuses on visual analytics systems as well as bibliometrics and webometrics.

Prior to joining l’EBSI, Anton worked in the ScholCommLab on the Sloan-funded Meaningful Data Counts project with Dr. Stefanie Haustein as a postdoctoral fellow. His work on this project involves determining appropriate ways of analyzing patterns and reach of dataset citations and reuse.

Anton has a PhD in Library and Information Science from Western University in London, Ontario, where he completed a thesis titled Making sense of online public health debates with visual analytics systems. He also has a Master of Science from the School of Media Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he studied interactive digital publishing.
