Flavia Camargo (she/her/elle) is a student in the Master of Information Studies program at the University of Ottawa. A lifelong learner, she decided to switch careers after almost 20 years in the field of English as a foreign/second language.

Flavia holds a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics (Unicamp) and a bachelor’s in English Language and Literature (UFMG).

She currently works as a library assistant at Global Affairs Canada, supporting a special library focused on foreign languages. Flavia is excited to join the ScholCommLab community as a research assistant, helping curate data for ROARA’s APC dataset.
