
Mario Malički is a research associate at the ScholCommLab. After completing his studies in the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, Mario earned an MA in Literature and Medicine at King’s College, London, UK. He then worked at the University of Split School of Medicine, Croatia, where he obtained a PhD in Medical Ethics with a project titled: Integrity of scientific publications in biomedicine. From 2017 to 2019, Mario was a postdoctoral researcher at AMC and ASUS in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He held the same role from 2020 to 2021 at METRICS, Stanford University, USA. From 2019 to 2025, Mario served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Research Integrity and Peer Review journal.
Since 2022, Mario has been an Associate Director of the Stanford Program on Research Rigor and Reproducibility (SPORR).
