Maxime Descartes Mbogning Fonkou is a postdoctoral fellow at the ScholCommLab. His research focuses on preprints, open peer review, and article revisions, with a particular interest in transparency, equity, and evolving scholarly practices. Maxime holds a PhD in Human Pathology and a Master’s degree in Scientific and Technical Information and Mediation from Aix-Marseille Université in France. He also has a background in infectious diseases, bibliometrics, and research data analysis. At the ScholCommLab, he leads and supports data-driven investigations related to preprint and peer review. He is passionate about open science, research equity, and helping institutions and researchers turn data into actionable insights.
