Three questions with... Cathy!

Our lab is growing! In our Three Questions series, we’re profiling each of our members and the amazing work they’re doing.

This post introduces Cathy Fang, a student at the ScholCommLab. In this interview, Cathy talks about what excites her about her current and future work, and shares some of her beautiful artwork with us!

Q#1 What are you working on at the lab?

I’m working on a brief literature review of the field of metascience. I’m excited to learn more about this topic and communicate it to the research community.

Q#2 Tell us about a recent paper, presentation, or project you’re proud of.

I’m most excited about a narrative review on the scholarly and societal impacts of open science I've been working on for a quite a while now. I cannot wait to get it out in the world!

Q#3 What’s the best (or worst) piece of advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received is to “drink wine before writing your thesis when you hit a writer's block".
