Lina Harper (she/they) is a creative, dynamic, improv-loving and neurospicy research data lady whose research focuses on data reuse among digital humanities scholars. She recently published a master’s thesis in the Information Studies program at the University of Ottawa under Dr. Stefanie Haustein and in collaboration with the ScholComLab. Her thesis, Data Reuse Among Digital Humanities Scholars: a Qualitative Study of Practices, Challenges and Opportunities, was nominated for the Joseph De Koninck Prize for best Masters thesis in Humanities, and won the CAIS Master’s Research Award in 2024. Lina is a former policy analyst of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), a data curator at the Federated Research Data Repository, and currently works as a Humanities and Social Science Analyst at Calcul Quebec out of McGill university.
